By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Using our site
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to misuse it, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, or scraping content without our written permission.
We try to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Our products
Teestallow products are natural, honey-based skincare and cooking fat. We take care to describe and photograph products accurately, but colours, textures and packaging may vary slightly from what appears on screen. Natural ingredients can vary between batches.
Important product information
- Our products contain honey and other natural ingredients. Please read the full ingredients list before use.
- If you have allergies or sensitive skin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please check the ingredients and consider a patch test before first use. If you are unsure, consult a healthcare professional.
- Stop using a product and seek advice if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes.
- Our products are cosmetics. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
- Results vary from person to person.
4. Orders and contract
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will send an order confirmation email, but a binding contract is only formed when we dispatch your products and send you a dispatch confirmation.
We may decline or cancel an order if, for example, a product is out of stock, there is a pricing or description error, we cannot verify your payment or details, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in [GBP (£)] and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment is taken at the time of order through our secure payment providers. We do not store your full card details. If a price is clearly incorrect, we may cancel the order and refund you, even if we have already sent a confirmation.
Discount codes and promotions are subject to their own terms, may not be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Delivery
We deliver to the countries listed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are not guaranteed. Unless we agree otherwise, we aim to deliver within 3 days of dispatch.
Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered. Ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.
For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or fees charged by the destination country. These are not included in our prices unless stated.
If your order is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible at info@teestallow.com and we will put it right.
7. Your right to cancel and returns
Cancellation right (UK consumers). Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To cancel, tell us clearly in writing (for example by email to info@teestallow.com). You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel, in the same condition you received them. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the goods are faulty or not as described.
Opened products. For hygiene and health protection reasons, sealed skincare products cannot be returned once the seal or hygiene protection has been broken, unless they are faulty or not as described.
Refunds. We will refund the price of the goods and standard delivery charges within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or proof of return), using the original payment method.
Faulty or incorrect items. If a product is faulty, damaged or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a repair, replacement or refund. Contact us with your order number and a photograph, and we will arrange this at no cost to you.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, comment or image to us, you grant us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display and reproduce it for marketing and on the Site. You confirm that it is honest, that you own it or have permission to share it, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights. We may remove content at our discretion.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, product names, branding, blog articles and design, is owned by or licensed to Teestallow and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, sell or otherwise exploit our content without our written permission.
10. Blog and information content
Articles and information on our blog are provided for general interest only and are not medical or professional advice. Please speak to a qualified professional about any health or skin concerns.
11. Links to other websites
The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Subject to this, we are not liable for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms, or for any business loss (including loss of profit, revenue or data), as we sell products for personal use only. Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.
13. Privacy and cookies
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read them.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to meet our obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, supply disruption, carrier delays, or internet or utility failures. We will let you know if this affects your order and will refund you for anything we cannot deliver.
15. General
- Changes to these Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the whole agreement between you and us.
- Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
- Transfer: We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
- Third parties: No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
