We use the same Irish tallow that we produce to craft our balm, so there is 100% traceabilty. Our balm is made here in England, Peterborough, at our premises. We’ve done a lot of research in choosing the right ingredients. We’ve considered quality but also price; we want it to be available to everyone.
Most tallow balms start at upwards of £15. Our product is available for only £10.99.
Our ingredients
It’s made from tallow, sweet almond oil, beeswax and vitamin E oil.
We render beef fat from Ireland to make our own tallow. It’s all made in-house. We’ve tried to support local businesses as much as possible and sourced beeswax from our local beekeeper in Peterborough and Stratfordshire.
We’ve opted for sweet almond oil instead of olive oil for a few reasons. Finding good-quality olive oil is really tricky, and I find that it’s quite “heavy” or oily on the face compared to sweet almond oil.
Adding Vitamin E oil makes it more effective at removing scars and also helps lock in moisture.
