Cod fat refers to the dense fat around the kidneys/suet. Its higher in stearic acid and more flavourful than the external fat of the carcuss. Its much purer best suited for tallow and skincare.

At T’s Tallow, quality starts at the source. We use beef fat sourced directly from Dunleavy Meats in Ireland, where animal welfare and traditional farming come first.

The cattle are raised on grass pastures, and when housed are fed grass-based feeds. Some farmers finish their animals on meal or cereal-based feeds, all of which are declared GMO-free.
